ตลาดน้ำคลองลัดมะยม ตลาดตั้งเลียบริมคลองลัดมะยมโดยมีถนนบางระมาดตัดผ่านตรงกลาง นายชวน ชูจันทร์ หรือ ชื่อที่ชาวบ้านเรียกกันคุ้นหูว่าลุงชวนเป็นคนก่อตั้งตลาดน้ำคลองลัดมะยม ก่อตั้งวันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน 2547 ก่อตั้งตลาดน้ำแห่งนี้ขึ้นมา จุดประสงค์คือต้องการให้ชาวบ้านได้มีพื้นที่ค้าขาย มีอาชีพที่สามารถนำเอาทรัพยากรที่มีอยู่มาใช้ได้อย่างเป็นประโยชน์สูงสุดและช่วยกันรักษาความสะอาดแม่น้ำลำคลอง คลองลัดมะยมเป็นคลองเล็กๆ แยกออกมา บริเวณคลองบางระมาดกับคลองบางพรหม ยาวประมาณ 3 กิโลเมตร ตลอดระยะความยาวของคลองลัดมะยมจะมีคลองเล็กๆ สู่คลองใหญ่ออกไปแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาได้หลายสายตลาดน้ำคลองลัดมะยมเป็นตลาดน้ำของแท้จริงๆ เลยทีเดียวค่ะ บรรยากาศเรียบง่าย เป็นวิถีชีวิตของชาวบ้านริมคลองอย่างแท้จริง มีของขายตลอด 2 ฝากฝั่งน้ำ ตลาดมีทั้งหมด 5 โซนอาหารเด่นขึ้นชื่อของตลาดน้ำคลองลัดมะยมก็คือปลาเผา มีลานจอดรถส่วนใหญ่คนจะออกันแน่นอยู่หน้าร้านที่อาหารอร่อยเช่นร้านไก่ย่างและร้านปลาเผาที่ฝั่งใต้ของตลาดมีร้านอาหารเรียงรายอยู่มากมายแบ่งออกเป็นซอย แต่ละซอยมีร้านอาหารเรียงติดกันเป็นแถวส้มตำปลาเผาหมูกรอบ


บรรยากาศคลองลัดมะยมกิจกรรมที่นิยมที่สุด คือ การกินพื้นที่ส่วนที่อยู่ติดคลองตั้งโต๊ะกับม้านั่ง รองลงมา คือการให้อาหารปลาริมคลองลัดมะยม และการนั่งเรือชมวิถีชีวิตคลองลัดมะยม แต่หากเดินเข้าไปลึกอีกสักหน่อย ก็จะได้ไปชม"สวนเจียมตน"ที่เปรียบเสมือนห้องเรียนธรรมชาติให้คนรุ่นใหม่ได้เข้าศึกษาวิถีชีวิตชาวสวนแบบดั้งเดิม ที่หาได้ยากแล้วในยุคที่บ้านจัดสรรเข้ามาประชิดถึงริมคลอง ฉันว่าถ้าพาเด็กๆ มาด้วย หลายคนคงตื่นตาตื่นใจกับทัศนียภาพที่ไม่เคยเห็นแน่ๆ ซึ่งผู้ใหญ่ที่พาไปก็ควรจะอธิบายถึงความเป็นอยู่ และการใช้ชีวิตของชาวสวนที่อยู่กันอย่างพอเพียง และไม่เบียดเบียนสิ่งแวดล้อมเหมือนที่เป็นอยู่ในปัจจุบัน
